On Wednesday, September 24th, Walk the Walk Foundation celebrated a milestone: 20 years of impact in Anne Arundel County.
The evening was absolutely perfect. Over 100 guests gathered for delicious food, live music, meaningful conversation, and stories of impact, stories of love, and stories of dignity that reminded us of the power of community.
We honored the Mitchell family, walked down memory lane, and dreamed together about the future.
Most importantly, we launched Way Makers, our brand-new monthly giving community — and welcomed 18 Founding Way Makers into the family! These faithful supporters are committing monthly to ensure that children in our community have the essentials they need year-round: diapers, backpacks, and Christmas joy.
Guests left the evening feeling inspired, hopeful, and grateful. Many shared how deeply they sensed the Lord’s presence in the room and in our work. The gospel was woven throughout the evening, shared in the many testimonies and stories told by our guests.
As we look ahead, we invite you to join this movement too. By becoming a Founding Way Maker, you’ll ensure that children in our community continue to have the essentials they need — and your name will be honored on our Way Maker Wall as part of this first circle of faithful supporters.
To everyone who has walked alongside us for the past 20 years — thank you. To those who are joining us now as Way Makers — welcome. And to our entire community — here’s to the next 20 years of impact, love, and service.
